Instead of hiring a gas fitting licensed plumber, a customer hired their general contractor (NOT LICENSED in gas fitting) to modify their gas line.  To transition the 1/2" gas line to a 3/4" gas line the contractor BEAT the 1/2" gas line into the 3/4" gas line, instead of using a reducing fitting.  Time goes by and the customer begins to smell gas.  The gas company pulls their gas meter and forces them to hire a licensed plumbing contractor that can pull a gas permit for inspection after the gas line is repaired legally.  Needless to say, the customer not only ended up spending more money but, they put their lives at risk!  #americanplumbingla.com, @americanplumbingla.com, #videopipeinspection, #leakdetection, #gasleaks
